Next time I’m visiting Japan, I will make a point to stay at this unique airbnb for a week instead of a few days. There are so many tasty restaurants near by!

The place is also greatly decorated with lots of charm - not like many other Airbnb places that are impersonal and look like an Ikea store - and has a great book library. Highly recommended.

We made popcorn, watch movies and had the absolute best time. We didn’t even want to leave the apartment. Kosuke is a great host. He made sure we were comfortable and gave us some recommendations for things to do in the area. It’s conveniently located and you can make it your base to explore Mt. Fuji.

Film izlerken keyifli vakit geçirmek için ideal bir yer!

Bunun yanı sıra evin diğer alanları da çok temiz ve düzenliydi. Konforlu yataklar, ihtiyaç duyabileceğiniz her şeyi bulabileceğiniz bir mutfak ve huzurlu bir ortam vardı. Ev sahibimiz ise inanılmaz derecede misafirperver ve samimiydi. Girişten çıkışa kadar her konuda çok yardımcı oldu, iletişimi oldukça hızlıydı ve kendimizi özel hissettirmek için ekstra çaba gösterdi.

This man has done a wonderful job reconstructing this beautiful theater into an incredible inn. The place is spotless, and he has all the amenities you will need for your time there. He is so kind and helpful, coming to help us when we were lost getting to his stay, and even sharing great places to eat and see while in Gotemba. The stay is 3 minutes from the train station which is super convenient for traveling from Gotemba, or even taking the bus up to Mt Fuji for a hike. There are plenty of onsen(thermal baths) near this stay, so you can really do it all from this area. He even offered us bikes that we used to coast around the area. Besides the stay, Kosuke is a very kind person, and I plan to return here in the near future to see how his work on this theater has progressed.

He even offered us rides and assisted with shipping items, which we really appreciated.The location is perfect, just a short walk from Gotemba Station. It made getting to Fuji-Q Highland, Gotemba Outlet, and other attractions so easy.   By far the most unique AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. We had a car, so this was very conveniently located to do the Hakone tourism circuit and also get close... read more up views of Fuji to the northwest (Lake Kawaguchi). The space itself is a converted retro movie theater with tons of cool related cinema memorabilia. The host has added a great projection/audio setup to the theater itself with lots of streaming options available. The rest of the place has plenty of space and beds, with all the amenities you’d need. It’s located in a lively part of town very close to the train station. The host is also very friendly, helpful, and communicative. If we ever find ourselves in the Hakone region again, we definitely would like to stay here again.

The cinema room itself was awesome,... read more and the host let us use his Netflix and Disney plus accounts and his DVD collection, so we didn’t have to worry about bringing a laptop. Would stay here again! 🙂
