The place itself is unlike any Airbnb I’ve experienced. The movie theater is huge and it’s easy to hook up your computer and sit back on one of the many couches to a movie or sports event on a massive screen with an theater grade sound system. The non bunk bed room is very nice, as well as the bunk beds and each door has its own lock. Kotsuke lives upstairs so he is available, but he gave us our privacy the whole time.
Could fit 10 comfortably, has two showers two bathrooms. Has a washer.

There are all these little touches around the place that make it such an experience. So many surprises and little touches to the place. So much more to say, but I’ve hit the character limit. Do not miss out!

The space itself is a converted retro movie theater with tons of cool related cinema memorabilia. The host has added a great projection/audio setup to the theater itself with lots of streaming options available. The rest of the place has plenty of space and beds, with all the amenities you’d need. It’s located in a lively part of town very close to the train station. The host is also very friendly, helpful, and communicative. If we ever find ourselves in the Hakone region again, we definitely would like to stay here again.

  What a wonderful experience. I sat in the theater with my two daughters watching movies as if I was a king.

Ev sahibimiz ise inanılmaz derecede misafirperver ve samimiydi. Girişten çıkışa kadar her konuda çok yardımcı oldu, iletişimi oldukça hızlıydı ve kendimizi özel hissettirmek için ekstra çaba gösterdi.

  Awesome stay, very convenient to restaurants and train station.

  The theater is so cool, I love feeling like I have my own private showing. The bathroom area is nice and clean with towels provided. You can have some snacks... read more like popcorn and coffee provided which I loved. I got locked out of my room by mistake when going to the restroom at night so either bring your key with you or take out the battery for the self locking mechanism, although this happened very late kosuke was able to help me. The theater and lobby are under construction so please understand there is a construction smell but the common area and living rooms are very nice. The iPad to play music made the experience that much more comfortable. Also it’s right across the street from the station which makes catching any bus (including the free premium outlet bus) v Ty simple.

  Kosuke is a great Host, even showed us a great place to eat within the city. The Cinema is excellent and the rooms are great.

  This is a great place. The Theatre Room is spectacular and perfect when you need to chill out during your trip in Japan. Great for a couples getaway or even with a group of friends to hang out. The theater room is really the highlight, with a cozy setup and amazingly big screen and sound system. You really get a private movie theater all to yourself! The location is also amazing. Literally a couple minutes from Gotemba station and located right next to some amazing restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food served at the nearby izakayas.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Gotemba.
