  The theater is so cool, I love feeling like I have my own private showing. The bathroom area is nice and clean with towels provided. You can have some snacks... read more like popcorn and coffee provided which I loved. I got locked out of my room by mistake when going to the restroom at night so either bring your key with you or take out the battery for the self locking mechanism, although this happened very late kosuke was able to help me. The theater and lobby are under construction so please understand there is a construction smell but the common area and living rooms are very nice. The iPad to play music made the experience that much more comfortable. Also it’s right across the street from the station which makes catching any bus (including the free premium outlet bus) v Ty simple.

  If you're looking for something other than the typical Japanese business hotel, or western chain hotel, this is your place!Very clean and well-appointed, this space is suited for smaller families... read more (like ours) or larger groups. You'll find comfortable beds, great showers and restrooms, and even a washing machine.Watching movies in the "living room" theater, is such a fun bonus, it makes for the perfect stay.The host was so fantastic! He greeted us, and made sure all our needs were met. He is an artist, and created this artful place himself. He was so friendly, he felt like part of our family. A few steps away from trains and busses, and many places to eat within walking distance, makes this a great location to call home while exploring the area.We had a fantastic stay!

This man has done a wonderful job reconstructing this beautiful theater into an incredible inn. The place is spotless, and he has all the amenities you will need for your time there. He is so kind and helpful, coming to help us when we were lost getting to his stay, and even sharing great places to eat and see while in Gotemba. The stay is 3 minutes from the train station which is super convenient for traveling from Gotemba, or even taking the bus up to Mt Fuji for a hike. There are plenty of onsen(thermal baths) near this stay, so you can really do it all from this area. He even offered us bikes that we used to coast around the area. Besides the stay, Kosuke is a very kind person, and I plan to return here in the near future to see how his work on this theater has progressed.

The space itself is a converted retro movie theater with tons of cool related cinema memorabilia. The host has added a great projection/audio setup to the theater itself with lots of streaming options available. The rest of the place has plenty of space and beds, with all the amenities you’d need. It’s located in a lively part of town very close to the train station. The host is also very friendly, helpful, and communicative. If we ever find ourselves in the Hakone region again, we definitely would like to stay here again.

It was an... read more immersive experience that I wish I could have enjoyed longer.The bnb is large with several rooms and beds. 2 different shower rooms and toilets. Large living room, kitchen, and an even larger theater, of course. Everything you could need and more. I stayed in January so my only note is of course it was a bit cold You should definitely use the heaters and blankets the host provides. The cold was no problem tho because the host offered many times information on heating and extra blankets. The host was very responsive and helpful on every request and question. He even waited for us to arrive at maybe 9pm so he could show us around and how to use the facilities.It is directly across from the station. Just a few minutes walk.Walk down the street one minute and you see Mt. Fuji! I would write more but out of space. Thanks!
